Originally from the St. Louis area, Dr. Basso began practicing in the Southern Illinois and St. Louis regions in 2018. After completing undergraduate studies at the Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, Dr. Basso attended Medical School at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He then completed his podiatry residency at Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago, IL where he was named chief resident during his final year. After residency, Dr. Basso moved back home to the St. Louis area to practice full-time.

Dr. Basso enjoys sharing the successes of his patients when they get back on their feet and return to their normal lifestyles. In his spare time, he enjoys grilling, gardening, playing drums, and exploring the world with his family.

He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
