Franklin Harry, DPM, ABMSP, is the founder of Best Foot Forward, with offices located in Festus and St. Louis, Missouri. He is a skilled podiatrist who completed specialty fellowship training in diabetic wound care and foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Harry is a member of the American Association of Podiatric Practice Management and is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.
Dr. Harry earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in Miami, Florida. He completed his surgical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following residency, Dr. Harry received advanced training with the Central Kentucky Diabetes Fellowship, specializing in complex wounds, limb salvage, and the biomechanics of fall prevention.
Dr. Harry enjoys working in all areas of foot and ankle care, and he is especially skilled in treating patients with diabetes. His other areas of expertise include bone deformities, arthritis, as well as foot and ankle injuries.
In his free time, Dr. Harry enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Bentley. They like cooking, hiking, scuba diving, and exploring new restaurants, and are avid sports fans. Dr. Harry is passionate about helping people in the community and internationally. Dr. Harry and his wife volunteer with medical mission programs in Guatemala, Haiti, and locally in homeless shelters in the St. Louis area.
